Press braking is a flexible, accurate and economical method for bending plates in small or large series. Press braking is well-suited for bending thick items.
Press braking is done by moving a top tool in the shape of a wedge downwards towards a bottom tool in the shape of a V. The item is placed between the two tools and bent using great pressure.
Using CNC-controlled press brakes it is possible to control the precise position of the item as well as the tool and thus achieve optimum precision and uniformity. This means that it is often possible to bend the items in a single process, even if the item requires several different bends.
We have press brakes with a length of up to 4 metres and 220-ton pressure. The combination of CNC control and several different tools means that we can bend materials with a thickness of up to 20 mm.
